Foreman/Track Supervisors

The job site foreman is responsible for the overall operation of a job site and its crew. Responsibilities include but are not limited to daily paperwork, overall equipment maintenance, and ensuring projects are completed on time and in line with contractual standards.

General Laborer

The laborer is responsible for basic equipment maintenance, on-site labor including raking or shoveling new or old asphalt, cleaning and prepping of existing surfaces, and assisting the foreman with any other tasks needed to complete the job.

Railroad Equipment Operator Vorst Paving - 4.7 Cincinnati, OH. Two years previous railroad equipment experience is preferred but not mandatory. On-the-job training is also available. Drug and background screens required. Must have a clean driving record and able to operate road vehicles as large as F550. Candidates must be willing to travel 100% of the time, working long hours, through the weekend, and in all types of weather conditions. Hotel and per diem are provided for out-of-town stays.

Truck Driver

While we do prefer drivers with a class A license, applications will be accepted from drivers with a class B license. Our fleet of vehicles include tandem, tri- and quad axle dump trucks as well as semi-trucks. Drivers may be required to haul equipment trailers to job sites when necessary. Responsibilities include material delivery and general maintenance on all trucks assigned to them. Once materials are delivered to the job site, drivers assist with basic job site duties and functions as directed by the job site foreman.

Application

Vorst Paving is a drug-free company. Applicants will be subject to a prehire drug screening as well as random drug screenings while employed. All applicants must be willing to travel out of state during the work week. This is usually no more than five days but can be longer if needed.
The environment in which we work can be hazardous. Asphalt temperatures range from 225 degrees to 325 degrees and external temperatures, depending on region and season, can reach into the 100s. Please consider and discuss any health conditions when applying.
